Featuring performances by Raymond Trapp and Friends, as well as the Lessie Vonner Trio, and a presentation by Keynote Speaker Donna Akuamoah of Fayetteville JFON ("From Client to Counsel"), please join us in-person or virtually for a very special evening of jazz, hors d'oeuvres, and celebration of NY JFON's mission of welcome! About Raymond Trapp: Raymond Trapp, a native of Belize, joined Vanderveer Park United Methodist Church in 2009. As Vanderveer's Director of Music, Raymond conducts 3 vocal choirs and plays the organ/piano. Raymond holds a Master's Degree from Westminster Choir College, Princeton, NJ in Sacred Music/ Choral Conducting. Raymond was selected as the "Worship & Music Director" for U.M.C General Conference 2019 and 2020. About Lessie Vonner: A Grand Prairie, Texas native trumpeter, Lessie Vonner performs in many venues throughout NYC and has performed in various music scenes across the world with artists such as Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Lizzo, Jon Batiste, Ari Lennox, the Fugees, Jennifer Hudson, the Broadway Sinfonietta, and many more. Lessie has received Grammy recognition for her participation on Beyoncé's award winning music film “Homecoming”, as well as for her work on the CARTERS’ award-winning “Everything Is Love” album. For Parking: There is a Target parking lot located on Nostrand Ave at the corner of Avenue H (1 block away). There is a minimal parking fee.
